Calavera Tap + Taco will offer fresh, made-from-scratch tacos, tostadas, salads, salsas, guacamole, desserts and more. Calavera’s Cal-Mex menu will highlight fire-grilled, spit-roasted, and slow-braised meats and seafood; fresh seasonal produce; and soft corn tortillas prepared daily on the premises. Our full bar will feature local craft beers on tap, unique wines by the glass, signature cocktails, and an extensive selection of fine tequila and mezcal. We invite you to relax and unwind in the sophisticated bar and lounge, or enjoy watching our chefs cook over the wood-fired grill from the lively, family-friendly dining room.
Calavera Tap + Taco is an original concept developed by Wexford native Suzanne Hrach, and inspired by her many trips to California, Arizona, and Mexico over the last 20 years. This is the second restaurant for Suzanne, who also owns and operates Proper Brick Oven & Tap Room in downtown Pittsburgh’s bustling Cultural District. Suzanne is excited to bring her unique Calavera Tap + Taco vision to the northern Pittsburgh community that she has always called home!
